- Call existing clinical sites to confirm the schedule the day before.
- Assist clinical staff by calling patients, front desk check-in, and rescheduling patients.
- Prepare patients and exam room for ultrasound procedures.
- Retrieve patient files and obtain medical information relevant to the ultrasound exam.
- Escort patients and visitors to the exam room.
- Assist medical professionals with patient examinations or procedures.
- Assist in updating and archiving medical records and ultrasound images.
- Clean ultrasound equipment and restock supplies as needed.
- Cover a variety of clinical settings, including outreach clinics, which may involve extended commute times.
- Primary coverage: Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Liberal
- High school graduate or GED holder
- 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, healthcare, or administration
- Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
- Adept in following directions, especially when handling sonographic equipment
- Ready to comply with health and safety policies and protocols
- Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distress
- Comfortable sitting for long periods
- Capable of lifting or moving patients, including those in wheelchairs or stretchers
- Capable of moving heavy equipment on wheels (up to approximately 500 pounds)
- Associate’s or bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) certified
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual: Spanish & English
